How can you join the hunt?

James has been hunting with us for some years and became field secretary in 2000. He can supply you with all the information required in order to come trail hunting with us. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about the names of the hills and coverts and if his wife Joy has not been out takes great delight in showing her meticulously on a map exactly where he thinks we have been.

How can you support the Hunt?

The best way you can support us is to join the hunt and participate. The hunt runs many functions and activities with over 50% of its income raised in this way. These occur throughout the year and our members and supporters contribute in many ways, first to support them and secondly by assisting in their organisation.

A Point-to-Point, Hunter Trials, Hunt Ball and various other social occasions are organised by Supporters' Club members and hunt followers. The Masters organise a Puppy Show and tea to which all contributors are invited.

All these events create the local community spirit for people of all walks of life who live in the countryside, a reputation which makes hunting unique amongst sports, and especially rewarding for everyone involved.
